July's Seasonal Scent: Isle of Jasmine

Hi Keapers,

Welcome to July! In case you missed them, here are some updates from June:

Keapers shared their ideas to celebrate our community for our 10th birthday next year

We tended our vocational flames by enjoying our annual all-company summer break

Reports of candles melted in transit were at an all-time low for June thanks to our new wax formula

SEASONAL SCENT, July: Isle of Jasmine

Taking cues from Hawaii’s native jasmine variety, pikake, Isle of Jasmine is a rainforest unto itself, with dewy florals, soft musk, and rich vegetals.

This month's complimentary preview tealight is of August's Canyons.

July Rituals

“I burn this candle every chance I get. It smells amazing and helps me to relax at the end of a long hectic day.”

— Candle Rituals from a Keaper

What's Included

Venture into a lush landscape with our current Seasonal member shipment containing a Isle of Jasmine candle, a tealight preview of next month’s Seasonal Scent (Canyons), a limited-edition coaster, and a letter from the Keap Team.

Candle Burning Tips

Each time you use your candle, trim the wick to 3⁄8” (about the width of your pinky finger) before you light it. This helps ensure a smaller, safer flame and less soot.

Each time you burn your candle, burn it for 2-3 hours. This will not only maximize the fragrance throw, but also help avoid "tunneling," where the candle burns down the middle, leaving wax around the edges.

For safety reasons:

▶ Don’t burn your candle when less than a 1/2” of wax remains.
▶ Never leave a burning candle unattended!

A Note on Matches

Longtime subscribers will know that we've experimented with a variety of matchbox (and even matchbook!) styles over the years, and we historically included matches in every subscriber shipment.

In early 2024, we made the switch to a beautiful Jumbo Matchbox containing extra sturdy long matches. With this change in format, we also implemented a change in the frequency we send them.

We now include a Jumbo Matchbox in every 12th subscription order. You can read more about the reasons behind the change here.

Need more matches sooner? Learn how to add matches to your next order through the subscriber portal here.

Reuse Inspiration

Candleholders are a breeze to repurpose when you know how! We've put together this quick and easy guide to give any candle glass a second life.

Explore our Tumbler Reuse Series to see the creative ways our awesome community of Keapers have been enjoying their glasses after their candles are long gone!

Tealight Burning Tips

The tealights are indicative of what our full candles smell like, but our full candles are much more powerful. To appreciate each scent, burn the tealight nearby or in a small room—bathrooms are a great place to test.

Not feeling next month's scent? You can always swap to Wood Cabin or Lavender + Petals. Make the change directly in your account -or- email us at TheLab@KeapBK.com, and we'll make the change for you.

Some safety tips for your tealights:

▶ Don’t leave lit candles (even tealights!) burning unattended.
▶ Burn on a flat surface.
▶ Be careful as the tins can get hot!
