Smell You Later!

This post was originally shared in our email newsletter on June 7th, 2024.

Tonight we wrap up our last candles and close the studio for our annual two-week  summer break.

We are still shipping out orders as they come in, but  orders placed  after 2pm  today will ship when we return, on June 24th . We have more summer break FAQs here.

This year, our break takes on additional meaning for me personally. I am taking a whopping four weeks off, something I have not done in my nine years of stewarding this company. I could write a whole blog post about this, but in short, my mind and body need a deeper recharge after several demanding years.

There’s another reason for my break: Keap is at a crossroads in its history. Its soil is fertile, and in order to connect to the abundant possibilities that lie ahead, I am relishing taking some distance. I aim to come back in July with fresh insight, and a renewed vision for our long-term future.

In the less distant future, we have Keap’s 10th birthday in our sights! Thank you to the nearly two hundred Keapers who responded to our call for ideas to mark the occasion.

As always our you delivered with insight, creativity, humor, and love! See what folks said here.

After the break, we’ll be diving into planning for the months ahead. I expect we’ll be working on several of the ideas brought up in the survey!

Wishing you all a summer full of abundance and potential,

— Harry from Keap, Steward-Owner

If you enjoyed this article, you might enjoy our not-quite-weekly free newsletter where we share our lessons on our journey toward our regenerative vision, product launches, and behind-the-scenes happenings.

We left social media in 2021 because we found its current mechanics didn’t align with our purpose to facilitate connection to the natural world, our loved ones, and our own spirits. Since then, our newsletter has become a vibrant place for healthy conversation around topics ranging from alternative business ownership models to happy hour cocktail recipes.

What our readers say about it:

“It’s very thoughtful and not sales-y like all other marketing newsletters.”

“I like reading how a business is trying to be as progressive as possible in a capitalist system.”

“I normally delete emails from businesses but with the Keap newsletter I was actually interested in reading through! Made me feel that you guys really care about us and the work you do."
