What is a Studio Second?
These are candles that didn’t pass our rigorous quality checks for one of a variety of reasons. The most common reasons are minor glass imperfections (such as little bumps and scratches), small height variations, or nicks from transit back to our studio.
When is the sale?
Monday, February 19th, starting at 11AM EST.
Last year, we sold out within the hour! We are always improving our production methods, which means we produce fewer and fewer Studio Seconds candles each year. That means we have a very limited amount of imperfect candles this year, and we expect to sell out quickly again.
How do I place an order?
We’ll send out a email on the day of the sale with a link to access the sale page.

What’s included in the sale?
The candles will be offered in our packaging-light 6-packs and significantly discounted ($24.50 per candle, plus tax + shipping).
Each pack will include a random assortment of either Bold, Bright or all Wood Cabin as listed below.
The inclusion of all scents is not guaranteed, and quantities of each scent may vary for each pack.
We won’t be able to accommodate requests for particular scents or to customize assortments.

When will my order ship?
Studio Seconds will ship within 2 weeks of your order. For our most up-to-date shipping report, see our shipping blog post .
How much will shipping cost?
Shipping costs will vary depending on how far your package has to travel from Kingston, NY. Standard shipping for a single 6-pack ranges from $7 to $17.
Can I remove the label attached to my Studio Seconds?
This label can be removed, and if it doesn't come right off for you, a little soap in water will do the trick.
