I was just singing Keap’s praises to my partner this morning as I lit one of your candles!

I wanted to share how impressed I was by my first shipment. I am so appreciative of the care taken to package and ship the candles and was pleasantly surprised by the treats of a mini candle and (really amazing) matches. The hand written card was an especially nice touch as well, I really loved that. All of these flourishes make such an impact. I can tell how much you care about your product and your customers.

I happened to duck into a bar/restaurant called June in Cobble Hill Brooklyn. I stepped in to escape a downpour and immediately was like, “what is that fragrance?!?” I asked the bartender because i couldn’t see any candles anywhere. Turns out the one candle they had in the bathroom was filling the entire establishment! Pretty impressive.

It was, if you are curious, the Wood Cabin candle that hooked me. The bartender mentioned the subscription program, etc. so i took a picture of the candle and signed up the very next day.

How does the Seasonal Scent option work?

Each month we choose a scent to match the season from our growing range of nature-inspired scents! Those who are subscribed to ‘Seasonal Scent’ receive this monthly curated selection. This scent can be switched to Wood Cabin or Lavender + Petals, skipped, or canceled at any time.

How will I know if I'll like the next Seasonal Scent?

Each month we include a tealight of next month's Seasonal Scent in your shipment, so you can use your own nose to get to know it! You can always make a change to your account before your next order if you don’t want to receive that scent. If you don’t mind spoilers, you can also see the full calendar of upcoming scents on our Scents page.

Can I subscribe to a specific scent instead of the Seasonal Scent?

Yes! Our Signature Scents — Wood Cabin and Lavender + Petals — are available year-round as subscription options.
Once subscribed, you can switch between Wood Cabin, Lavender + Petals, and the Seasonal Scent anytime.

If I subscribe to a multi-pack, can I mix and match scents?

Yes! You can get any combination of the Seasonal Scent, Wood Cabin, and Lavender + Petals in your order. We have our most popular options available on this page, and more 2- and 4-pack combinations are accessible in the subscriber portal once you have set up your account. What is a Half + Half subcription?

Half + Half subscription options allow you to get two different scents in your 2- or 4-pack subscription.

For example, the Half + Half (Seasonal + Wood Cabin) 2-Pack Subscription would contain one candle in the Seasonal Scent of the Month and one Wood Cabin candle in each shipment, and the Half + Half (Seasonal + Wood Cabin) 4-Pack Subscription would contain two candles in the Seasonal Scent of the Month and two Wood Cabin candles in each shipment.

Can I let you know scent preferences?

Yes! After you subscribe, just drop us a note at TheLab@KeapBK.com, and we can accommodate any preferences. If you prefer not to receive this month’s Seasonal Scent, you can switch to Wood Cabin or Lavender + Petals, or you can skip a shipment. If there are scents you love, you can always stock up on those during the month they are in season.

How long does each candle last?

Our candles have a burn time of about 45 hours. If you light candles on a weekly basis, that will translate to about 1 candle per month, which is our most popular frequency option.

If you light your candles on a daily basis, our recommendation would be 2 candles per month.

If you're new to candles or a part-time candle burner, 1 candle every 2 months might be the way to go for you!

Don't forget that regardless of the pace you burn your candles, you can always take advantage of our multi-pack discounts and adjust your frequency accordingly.

Can I receive my subscription less often without manually skipping shipments?

Yes! You can set your subscription up to ship every 1, 2, 3 or 4 months. Once you set up your subscription account, you can adjust your default frequency any time.

If I choose bimonthly shipments of the Seasonal Scent of the Month, which scents will I receive?
+

If you are subscribed to the Seasonal Scent of the Month, you will receive the Seasonal Scent for the month in which your order processes, regardless of your frequency. If you are subscribed for bimonthly shipments, that means you'll receive every other Seasonal Scent.

You can always adjust your shipment date in your subscription portal if you'd like to be sure to receive (or skip!) the Seasonal Scent of a particular month, or you can email us at TheLab@KeapBK.com, and we're happy to help you with any adjustments you'd like to make.

When will I receive my first candle?

Your first candle will ship immediately, and subsequent candles will ship on the same day of following months. If you order on the 31st of a month, this will adjust to the 30th of future months.

Can I adjust shipments if I need to?
+

Yes! You can always change your scent, frequency, or quantity, skip deliveries, or cancel your subscription. We'll send you an email three days before each shipment to check your preferences are up to date.

Will my subscription orders include matches?
+

Sometimes! We will send you a Jumbo Matchbox with your first subscription order. Going forward, you will receive an anniversary Jumbo Matchbox with every 12th subscription order.

Please note that to comply with regulations orders including matchboxes will be sent via USPS Ground Advantage.

Can I save by buying more candles?

Yes! We offer multi-pack discounts. If you subscribe to:
▶ Two candles per delivery, you save an additional $10.
▶ Four candles per delivery you save an additional $30.

Are your packaging-light 6-packs available as a subscription option?

Our packaging-light 6-packs are only available as part of our monthly Limited Releases. You can learn more about those events here.

Though we don't offer the 6-pack option as a subscription, we do aim to keep our subscription packaging low-waste while offering our subscribers a few special touches.

Can I cancel at any time?

You can cancel at any time. The subscription discount requires at least two shipments. If you cancel after just one shipment, no problem. In that case, we’ll simply charge you back the subscription discount of $10 to reflect a one-off purchase.

How do I gift a subscription?

We offer Pre-paid gift subscriptions. Simply purchase and put the recipients shipping address instead of yours.

Can I buy a candle just once?
+

Yes, you can buy Wood Cabin and Lavender + Petals just once at any time.

Looking to make a one-time purchase of a Seasonal Scent? This month's Seasonal Scent of is only available to subscribers.

If candles are still available at the end of the month, we offer a limited release for anyone who wants to snag one (or more!) before it’s gone until next year. Sign up for our newsletter for access and details.

Note: The only way to be guaranteed access to our seasonal scent is by joining our candle subscription.

Is there a limit to how many times I can skip shipments?

Nope! You can skip shipments as much as you like.

Do subscribers get discounts on non-subscription Keap products?
+

Yes! Subscribers also get 10% off everything else on our website.

I only want to subscribe for one year at a time. Will my subscription automatically be cancelled after one year?
+

No! Our regular subscription is ongoing until either (a) you cancel it through the subscriber portal or (b) you contact us to let us know you'd like to cancel. You can cancel at any time before or after the year mark.

We do offer a gift subscription option that is paid upfront and will be automatically stopped at the end of one year. If you'd like to give yourself the gift of an auto-cancellation a year from now, you can find that option here.
