Help us Pick our Appreciator-in-Chief!

This post was originally shared in our email newsletter on November 18, 2024.

Earlier this month, we asked Keapers to share an unexpected appreciation for someone in their life in the form of a photo and short text. The submissions—heartwarming, thoughtful, and creative—celebrated everyone from friends and family members to coworkers, local farmers, community volunteers, local elected officials, animal rescuers, and even ferry operators. Thank you to everyone who shared a submission!

Our jury had an extremely challenging time narrowing submissions down to our 24 semi-finalists. These appreciations embody such a wide array of beautiful, inspiring sentiments and are sure to make you smile.

Now we need your help to pick our ten finalists, who will earn a complimentary Keap candle—as well as a $50 donation in their name to their chosen nonprofit.

🗳️Vote for your favorites here  by Sunday, November 24 at 11:59pm EST 🗳️

If you shared an appreciation that wasn't selected as a semi-finalist, we still encourage you to  share it  with your "appreciatee," and we'll be in touch in the coming weeks about your $10 credit.

With anticipation,

— Harry from Keap, Steward-Owner

If you enjoyed this article, you might enjoy our not-quite-weekly free newsletter where we share our lessons on our journey toward our regenerative vision, product launches, and behind-the-scenes happenings.

We left social media in 2021 because we found its current mechanics didn’t align with our purpose to facilitate connection to the natural world, our loved ones, and our own spirits. Since then, our newsletter has become a vibrant place for healthy conversation around topics ranging from alternative business ownership models to happy hour cocktail recipes.

What our readers say about it:

“It’s very thoughtful and not sales-y like all other marketing newsletters.”

“I like reading how a business is trying to be as progressive as possible in a capitalist system.”

“I normally delete emails from businesses but with the Keap newsletter I was actually interested in reading through! Made me feel that you guys really care about us and the work you do."
